Wok’s Cook-In’s History

Wok’s Cook-In was established as a family business in 1985 and since then it has grown from strength to strength.

Wok’s Cook-In is owned and managed by David Lee who grew up in Torquay, attending Audley park school (now Torquay Academy). David worked at Wok’s Cook-In as a teenager, before he took over from his parents.

David has a loyal customer base, many of whom have used Wok’s Cook-In for generations and have gone on to have children who have now grown up and become customers themselves.

Family and tradition are the heart of Wok’s Cook-In, David prides himself on knowing many of the names of his regulars and building lasting relationships with the people that have kept this local business at the heart of the community all these years.
